In the automotive industry – especially in Europe – the ISO/IEC 15504 is used for the assessment and
qualification of electronics supplier. Due to tightened competitive conditions
companies establish process improvement projects as means for an improvement in
efficiency and quality intensification in their development departments.
As a basis for the process ranking and improvement the
automotive manufacturers demand from their suppliers the use of Automotive
SPICE® as an ISO/IEC 15504 compliant assessment model which is aligned to the
needs of the automotive industry.
This course conveys the necessary skills for taking
over the tasks of a Competent Assessor in an assessment according to Automotive
SPICE®. The course is based on the experiences of the training as Provisional
Assessor and the assessment experiences in practice. The main content of the
course is therefore the exchange of experiences of the participants and the
intensification of the use of Automotive SPICE® against the background of these
experiences.
Conception The here described seminar covers the process
assessment model and the process reference model of Automotive SPICE®.
The content of this training is standardized by the
intacs™ curriculum. The certificate will be issued by the “Verband der
Automobilindustrie Qualitätsmanagement Center (VDA-QMC)” and holds the title
“intacs™ ISO/IEC 15504 Competent Assessor (Automotive SPICE®)”.
In order to pass the training as Competent Assessor
(Automotive SPICE®) three forms of performance records are necessary:
Prior to the start of the seminar you will get a task that you have to solve previous to the start of the seminar and present its solution during the seminar.
You actively participate at the practical parts of the training. This commitment will be evaluated by the trainer.
You successfully pass the independently approved written multiple choice exam at the end of the training.
Please mind that we recommend an independent pre- and post-processing on each seminar day for a successful participation of the exam.
