The SPICE 1-2-1 Product family

contains tools which support assessors in the planning, preparation, execution and evaluation of assessements and permit the automatic generation of the assessment presentation. The SPICE 1-2-1 product family was developed jointly by SynSpace and its sister company, HM&S. The product family includes:

SPICE 1-2-1 for ISO15504-2012

The tool is characterized by an extremely user friendly information entry interface and information management. It is based on ISO 15504-Part 5-release 2012 and is, thanks to its flexibility and extensive possibility for individual modification, a professional assistant for a successful assessment.

SPICE 1-2-1 for Automotive

The tool contains the assessment model Automotive SPICE. It is particularly suited for organizations in the automobile industry and suppliers who want to rely upon « best practice ».

SynEdit makes it possible to modify SPICE 1-2-1 to meet specific needs. It is particularly suited for quality control supervisors or advisors who regularly assess and analyze processes, not only development processes, in large companies or specific branches. Such professionals can use this instru-ment to create an individualized tool.


SynEval helps an assessor compare and analyze the results of multiple assessments.


A tool for statistical code analysis, with which every code can be checked for conformance of the programming rules and correct usage of the programming language – two of the chief sources of error which are very difficult to identify after the fact. Thanks to a connection to a data bank the quality of code can be checked at any time and the development of the code can be followed.
