1+ Button

With the help of the Google +1 button you can publish information world wide. When you use the Google+1 button, you and other users can receive personalized content from Google and our partners. Google saves however the information which you have provided for the +1 contents as well as information about the websites which you have viewed by clicking on +1. Your +1 could also be displayed together with your profile name and photograph in Google services, for example in search results or in your Google Profile, or in other locations on websites and advertisements on the Internet. Google stores information about your +1 activities in order to help improve Google Services for you and others. To use the Google +1 button, you need a visible, public, viewable Google Profile which must contain at least the name which is chosen for this profile. This name will be then used in all Google Services. In many cases this name can also replace another name, which you used for parts of the contents which you have viewed over your Google Account. The identity of your Google Profile can be shown to users who know your email address or possess other identifying information about you.

Use of the stored information: In addition to the possible uses listed above, the information you provide may be used according to Google´s data protection rules. It is possible that Google might publish statistics it has compiled about the +1 activities of its users, and it may pass the information along to users and partners, for example publishers, advertisers, or associated websites.
