Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) is a rigorous two-day training with the objective of teaching the participants how to maximize their return on investments and minimize the total cost of ownership of their products and systems. This is achieved by employing iterative and incremental techniques. The Scrum framework is used, but the training focuses on how to be agile, not Scrum itself.
The objective of day 1 is to teach the fundamentals necessary for understanding and filling the role of the Product Owner in the context of product management and Scrum. The course will teach the understanding of the role itself and provides an explanation of the principles of agile project management by the Product Owner.
Day 2 focuses on a practical approach to teaching the methodological skills the Product Owner requires for successfully managing a Scrum project. At the core of the workshop are the issues surrounding agile requirement management, agile planning and total cost of ownership.
At the beginning participants will be provided with a folder with hard copies of slides. The training material is always provided in English language independently from speaking language.
This training is recommended to experienced product managers, product owners and managers wishing to maximize their business success with agile practices. Basic knowledge of iterative and incremental techniques is required; knowledge of Scrum is beneficial.
The official Professional Scrum Product Owner I (PSPO I) examination and the professional Scrum Product Owner II (PSPO II) examination can be taken online subsequent to the training.
